Our Philosophy

We provide quality forest management  services using the principles of ecological forestry.  Our mission is to  maintain a vibrant working landscape through the practice of sound  forestry and forest harvesting. Our forestry services help sustain  Vermont’s forested working landscape by improving forest health and  resilience. 

Grahm Leitner, the business owner, is a Vermont Licenced forester and a SAF Certified Forester. ​ Grahm completed  a Master of Science -Forestry (MS) at the University of Vermont in 2012  and received a Master of Environmental Law and Policy at Vermont Law  School in 2011.  Previously he studied  conservation and geography at the University of WI-Madison, where he  graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 2001.    From an early up-bringing  in central WI, Grahm has always had a love for the woods and outdoors,  this "land ethic" provides a framework for the company's work.
